Van Oirshot needed to measure all the goods at warehouse entry to optimize the WMS, eliminating errors and mistakes. Not only small packages needed to be measured but also large and heavy products.
For this the solution of Parcel Metrics is based on RAVAS mobile weighing hand pallet trucks equipped with a Bluetooth weight indicator. With the Bluetooth Cubetape, scanning and dimension the goods, all data is captured in the Parcel Metrics Desktop software based on a PC installed in a mobile workstation.
Important demand – the solutions was needed also for the heavy goods, so a full flexible and mobile operation was paramount.
